brean sands beach fishing. (burnham on sea) england

got up one morning on holidays over in warren farm, and thought ill try a bit of sea fishing over on burnham on sea beach, i do alot of sea fishing back home in south wales, so i went to warren farm tackle shop to pick up my bait i bought a pack of sandeels and a pack squid, and the good thing is if you go there at 9 o clock u get about 20% off on your bait, so i got my bait and walked to the beach and the tide was just on its way in about 3 hours before high tide and the water comes in fast because of the flat beach, so you move back like every 5 mins, so i set up all my gear and waited, moving back every 5mins. i heard alot about the place, the further more u go down the beach the more muddy and sludgy it gets, most people either fishing the middle of the beach or the top end of the beach just up by the rock were all the congers hang round in-between the rocks, so i still never caught anything as it reached high tide, so i thought ill fish it out to lw (low water) and then pack up, and as i was moving down the beach i started to see twirls in the sand and they kept coming up everywere, never seen so much worm holes in my life and as i was looking down the beach there must of been thousands and the beach was black full of worms, so as i was following the tide down i thought ill call it a day and retreat on the lake in warren farm, so i packed up and went, im going back up there sometime in 2012 in the summer time, as i know a couple of secret marks along the beach i hope …

Bluegill Fishing With New Micro Jigs – They Won’t Be Able to Resist

One of the biggest problems in bluegill fishing without live bait is presented a bait properly far away from shore. This is due to bluegill lures being too light, and sometimes a fisherman using line/rod and reel that is too heavy. Casting live bait without a bobber is impossible, the bait flies off the hook half the time and you end up feeding the fish for free. To really get a proper presentation to bluegill that are in the deeper water you need to start using some jigs, that in themselves, without a maggot or grub side dish, could fool bluegill all day long. Most store bought hair tied jigs are meant for walleye or bass, and they are much too big for the bluegill.

Everyone’s talking about the new light emitting Esca Lures. Buy these exciting new Esca Lures online at – www.escalure.co.uk

However, many anglers are offering their creations to the world over the internet, and some of their offerings are truly amazing. Micro jigs, tied like flies are being developed by dedicated anglers who are sick of not having something affordable to present to hungry bluegill. These jigs need no bait tipping, they are more than delectable all by themselves.

Bass Fishing Isn’t What it Used to Be – Tips From a Weekend Angler

The Thrill of That First Strike of the Day

Nothing quite matches that inner sensation when you feel a slight tug on your line, you give it a jerk and a largemouth bass breaks the surface of the otherwise calm waters. He leaps into the air and shakes the lure violently in an effort to toss it loose.

Largemouth bass are one of the most exciting game fish found in the lakes and ponds and slow running rivers in North America. Granted there are pickerel, northern pike and muskies and other real fighters, but their range is limited.

They have adapted to varied environments throughout the Eastern U.S. and their penchants for aggressive behavior have made largemouth bass the most popular sport fishing target in North America. It is the king of game fish in Florida.

Bass fishing for many is an absolute obsession. They spend tons of money on tackle, lures and fishing boats equipped with every electronic device imaginable. But for me, fresh water fishing is just a way to spend a few peaceful hours along the banks of a quiet little pond.

Fishing as often as I do-not nearly as much as I’d like-has put me behind the curve in sport fishing technology. I was amazed to see so many new lures, even in Walmart that I figured I needed to get back up to speed.

While dozens of different lures are used to land the big ones, some of the most popular types are listed below:

Crank Baits: have the look of baitfish or crawfish, which are favorites of small and largemouth bass. These come in various sizes, colors and shapes. Crank baits work well in most kinds of water, and you can fish fast and cover a lot of water to find the hungry ones. Using a crank bait has a learning curve but it will add to your arsenal of go-and-gettum lures.

Jerk Baits: This term refers to the action that you use to make the lure act like bait in distress and will encourage a strike. There are two basic types: one is the hard lure resembling a crankbait, but it has a much slimmer profile and smaller lip than the deep diving lures. The other kind is the soft plastic type.

Spinner Baits catch lots of bass and they are a good bait for covering a lot of water fast to where they are feeding. They do tend to catch bigger bass and they come in a wide variety of sizes, colors and blade shapes. They resemble baitfish and are a real treat for bass.

Everyone’s talking about the new light emitting Esca Lures. Buy these exciting new Esca Lures online at – www.escalure.co.uk

Jig & Crawfish/Pig: A jig and pig is one of the top-rated big bass baits available for anglers. Many of the big bass tournaments are won with this lure because they do catch bigger bass. When worked along the bottom they resemble a crayfish and they look like an easy meal. The Jig and Pig has a pigskin trailer to complete the illusion.

Bucktail Jigs are a very basic lure that is very effective in catching fish, so effective it is included in many survival kits. Some models include plastic tails either straight or curly. All work well under a variety of conditions.

If you are wondering what the best color for a lure is, the best answer is, “There ain’t one.” Much depends on the time of day, sunny or cloudy sky, clear or murky water. So variety in color is your best way to go. But the pros say always have a few chartreuse lures in your kit too.

Marine Electronics – Lowrance Fishfinder Technology

The fast pace of modern technology means there is always a new gadget or device on the marine electronics market. For example, Lowrance recently introduced Broadband Sounder technology into their line of fishfinders. The Lowrance Broadband Sounderâ„¢ can actually see through structures to detect fish and is also capable of operating at high speed in deep water.

Lowrance has a strong reputation for reliable fishfinders and this new technology makes their product line more appealing than ever. The Lowrance Broadband Sounderâ„¢ offers increased capability for target separation and improved detail in shallow waters.

What Makes the Lowrance Broadband Sounderâ„¢ different?
Lowrance fishfinders with Lowrance Broadband Sounder™ use a 200 kHz single frequency transducer covering a 60° field of view. The transducer then sends out another signal at 83 KHz covering a 120° field of view. Because the scanning area is broader, targets remain in view for a longer period which means more information can be collected on the target, thus refining the details.

Using the Broadband Sounder technology Lowrance has overcome a common tradeoff. Typically a strong detail at the bottom has meant less definition in the shallow part of the cone. The new technology means greater definition of countours, thermoclines and underwater structures. The result is the ability to use the Lowrance fishfinder to locate fish hiding in grass, weeds, skirting rocks and otherwise playing hard to get.

When you crank up the power on a traditional transducer to increase detail in deeper waters, the result is often increased clutter. While there is more information it is often harder to decipher because of this increased clutter. The Lowrance Broadband Sounderâ„¢ reduces the clutter so when you turn up the gain on the fishfinder, the clutter is filtered, making the detail easier to understand and the fish easier to see. The technology is therefore really useful for clarity in deep water and at the bottom of a river, lake or seabed.

Advantages of The Lowrance Broadband Sounderâ„¢ Fishfinder

The new technology offered in Lowrance fishfinders provides strong bottom lock at high speeds in deep waters. It offers better clarity than previously possible in fishfinder technology and uses digital filtering algorithms to reduce clutter at high gain. This is heavy duty technology for serious fishermen. If you want to take your sportfishing to the next level, it could well be worth your while to look into the the Lowrance Broadband Sounderâ„¢ technology next time you are in the market for a fishfinder.

Paleolithic Food

The Paleolithic age was the age of the cave man or the early man. Though this age was considered primitive it was actually the best age man had. They had the best teacher to teach them – nature! Even as man evolved he realised he could never go against nature, it was a force beyond him, encompassing him. Natural is the best way to be and natural food is the best thing you can give your body. Diseases, sicknesses and misery evolved as man evolved, the early man never faced all of this. Have we heard of our ancestors having cancer, diabetes or obesity ? Never!the reason is they did not live in a synthetic world. They did not exchange food for vitamin supplements!

Instead of growing strong as we evolved we have grown weaker, the average life today is 50-60 which is half that of a cave man’s! The secret behind their fruitful life was their food. That food is called the paleo diet today! It has been re-introduced in our lives so that we reap the benefits of a healthy life the way they did. We need to get out of a plastic world and go back to nature. We have caused more harm to ourselves than good and it’s time to make amends.

Paleo recipes have been in use since the 1970′s when they were first introduced and hundreds and thousands of these recipes are available today. Fitness today is more of a concern than national security, a fit athletic body is a gift from the God’s, because it is so unachievable! But were’nt we made to be beautiful human beings, how then do we find ourselves so imperfect and so full of flaws today ?it is because we have strayed from the path, we need to get back. Everything in nature is so full of energy, strength and beauty, then why is man today struggling to live under the burdens of sickness, ill health, stress and anxiety?

Paleo diet recipes speak for themselves and only a person who experiences the change understands how simple yet miraculous this way of life is. These recipes make you feel younger and stronger, energetic and healthy. Simple food yet good food. Millions have benefitted from the paleo diet, it is a method that has been in use since forever and that is proof enough for people to start believing in it !

Plastic Worm Fishing – Catch Big Fish

Buy the Award Winning ‘Esca Lures’ online at http://www.innovativefishingtackle.co.uk/

You are going to need to know the basic rigs to know how to fish your worm. * Texas rig- is weedless you can cast without worrying about getting hung up. You can cast this rig where you do not dare with other rigs. *Carolina rig- is great for when fishing is rough due to tournaments or heavy boat traffic and cold fronts. *Wacky worm rig- is also great for hard to catch fish use a four to five inch worm hooke straight through the middle use a four a four inch worm and use a finishing nail buried in the worm for weight. this rig is for those hard to catch fish. Do not fish past eight eight feet or so. Jig worm is great outside of the weed lines for those active fish use a six or seven inch worm.

To retrieve your worm cast it and simply retrieve it from nine to ten as if you were looking at a clock or watch watching your line for any movement or twitches. If you get a strike you will not feel it you will see a twitch or line movement and if you do drop your rod tip and reel most not all the slack line and jerk upwards and have fun.

Hook size and weight of your slip- sinker will be covered later look to the bottom of this article for my website. But for now to big or to small of a hook will miss hook sets. You will also need different weights for different depths this will be covered also. Color a general rule of thumb is clear water go with natural colors in stained or muddy water go with bright colors and at night always go with a large black worm, I am talking ten inches or more. Now you have learned a lot about plastic worm fishing are you ready to catch a some huge fish, well now you can!

The Joy of Catching a Big Fish

Some say fishing is boring. Those people may lack patience and appreciation for rewarding experiences. Those people have never, and will never, feel the joy of catching a big fish.

Fishing is a “hurry up and wait” scenario, beginning with an early morning. Beating the sun rise is the key. Bring coffee and breakfast on your way, then take a few minutes to unload, set up, cast out… and then wait. And wait. Then wait some more.

By noon, if you have not had any bites at all, it is okay to reel in, take down, pack up, and head home. Yet if you have even had one single nibble, chances are you will be waiting some more. You never know if today is the day you will land a big fish.

Inexperienced outdoorsmen or women may compare landing a big fish to tagging a 10 point buck. In some ways they are similar, yet both experiences are two totally different types of rewarding. Any person who can beat the sun for a “hurry up and wait” scenario is seeking out a reward, yet a successful day of hunting does not feel the same as a successful day of fishing.

The reward of catching a big fish is partly like the reward of tagging a 10 point buck. There is patience required, and the possibility of going an entire season without the reward. You can be tired, hungry, cold, and love every second of it. Yet there is one huge difference between tagging a prize deer and reeling in a big fish.

A deer is something that will feed a family for several months, and can also be used for clothing or other purposes. A deer can go a long way, and the head of a prize deer can also make a wall decoration. Tagging a deer is something that you have bragging rights to for years, and you have proof to back you up. When somebody has a head on the wall, they have a story to match that will last for years.

However, catching a big fish is not rewarding for bragging rights. Many fishermen and women will catch and release. The joy of winning a battle with a big fish is something that is often more inside than outside. There is no proof, and others may not believe you did catch a big fish. Even if they do, they may not share the same awe, because they were not there, they did not experience the struggle, and they did not feel the strength that a fisher feels when returning a big fish to the water. Catching that big fish is a joy that is real, and not material. There is nothing more powerful than the joy of catching a big fish.

Bass Fishing For Beginners – Three Tips to Catch Big Bass

Bass fishing for beginners can seem a little bit overwhelming. Picking the equipment can be challenging, but mastering the technique can be even harder. Knowing these few simple tips can save you a lot of time and hassle. Knowing the basics will also make your time on the water a better and more productive learning experience.

1. Learn Bass Patterns

These fish are ruled by patterns. They are heavily influenced by the world around them. You need to memorize their reaction to outside influences such as weather, temperature, and the structures of the lake.

Bass do well in moderate temperatures, around 68-78 degrees. They like to stay in heavy cover. Knowing these two things alone will help tremendously.

You can now search for heavy cover where the bass might be. Look for grasses or fallen trees. These are typically hot bass spots.

If it is a hot day, you can assume that the bass will be deeper in the water to avoid the heat.

2. Learn to Use All Your Baits

So you’ve stocked your tackle box with all the recommended jigs, crankbaits, and spinners…now what? You need to learn how to use all of your baits, and when the best time is to use them.

There are many different types of crankbaits. Some swim deep, some swim shallow. If you can guess how deep the bass will be, you can choose the proper crankbait accordingly.

Jigs usually take the longest to learn because they are very versatile and there is a large variety. Master these baits because they are the best ones to use to fish heavy cover. Using jigs for bass can lead to very good fishing.

3. Search for Perfect Bass Holes

A topographical map can help you to find great bass spots. Look for deep structures where the bass might be. When you find these structures, fish all around them until you find a great hole. Bass typically only inhabit a small area of a structure where there is ample food and cover for them.

These tips are only the beginning of developing your bass fishing technique, but they are very helpful. Learning about these fish can make bass fishing for beginners a rewarding and productive experience.

River Fishing Tips – Drifting Fishing For Trout (Ezine Ready)

For anyone who doesn’t know what “drift fishing” is it is simply fishing by allowing your bait or lure to “drift” with the current of the river or stream that you are fishing in an attempt to catch fish. This technique is effective for most any species of fish that swims in a river and is one of the best river fishing tips that you will ever receive for river fishing for trout.

The first thing to consider when drift fishing for trout is the size of your rod, reel, and the line that said reel is spooled with. Both your rod and reel should be ultralight action. When it comes to your rod and river fishing tips, a great tip is to use different a longer rod the heavier the current is flowing. For example, when the river that your are fishing is flowing “normally” a five to five and a half foot ultralight rod is in order. When the current of the river that you are fishing is flowing “heavily” (such as in the spring) a longer ultralight rod is in order, say six to seven feet. The longer your fishing rod the more “feel” you will have as the current flow increases and your ability to “feel” in integral to drift fishing.

Next is your fishing line. Monofilament or fluorocarbon line that is either four or six pound test is the perfect size for drift fishing for trout. A key to drift fishing for trout is being able to visually see the line that is not underwater while the “drift” is taking place. This is why fishing line that is clear/blue in color is incredibly important to drift fishing. Clear/blue line is highly visible out of the water, yet is invisible to the fish beneath the water. Whatever brand of monofilament or fluorocarbon fishing line you choose to use, make sure that the color of the line is invisible under the water, while being visible to you above the water.

When you are drift fishing for trout (or any other fish species for that matter) you want to do it by standing in the current of the river itself and casting parallel to where you are standing. The bail on your reel is closed and the bait or lure is allowed to “drift” as the current takes the offering downstream. When the bait or lure is directly below where you are standing the “drift” is over and the offering is reeled in. This is “drift fishing” and with practice will probably become your favorite river fishing technique.

What is the difference between a theorem and a lemma?

A theorem is a proppsition that has been or is to be proved on the basis of explicit assumptions. A theorem has two parts stated in a formal language — a set of assumptions and a conclusion that can be derived from them according to the inference rules. The proof, though necessary for the statements to be classified as a theorem, is not considered part of it. A lemma is a Statement that forms part of the proof of a larger theorem. The distinction is rather arbitrary since one mathematician’s major is another’s minor claim. Gauss s lemma and Zorn’s lemma are interesting enough per se that some authors present the nominal lemma without going on to use it in the proof of any theorem.
